System integrators
Payment integration for system integrators
Connect cash registers, kiosks and back offices once and reach every device and acquirer on the Switchio platform. The technical detail is on the developers page.

Integration points
Where your system meets ours.
The payment application handles the card and the switch handles the acquirer, so your side stays the same whatever the device.
- Cash registers on LinuxStandalone or integrated with the cash register over B-protocol, IFSF or a custom integration.
- Cash registers on AndroidApp to app on the device, or an external register over the GSA protocol, on LAN or Wi-Fi.
- Server to serverCloud APIs for back office integration, the TMS API for terminal status and configuration, reports over SFTP.
- One integration, many devicesThe same payment application runs on 40+ certified Linux and Android devices, so a new model is a rollout, not a new project.
From test to live
Three environments, one path.
Integration
You build and test against the integration environment, where new features are developed first.
Acceptance
The integration is certified and its functions validated before anything reaches a merchant.
Production
Go live with phased rollouts, so the first terminals prove the setup before the rest follow.
FAQ
Integration, answered.
What integrators ask before the first build.
Which cash register protocols can we use?
On Linux devices B-protocol, IFSF or a custom integration. On Android app to app on the same device, or an external register over the GSA protocol, locally or through cloud APIs.
Does one integration cover all acquirers?
Yes. Your integration talks to the payment application and the switch, and the switch routes each transaction to the right acquirer or processor, so adding an acquirer is configuration on the platform.
Where do we start?
With the devices and acquirers in scope. Every project goes through the same three environments, integration, acceptance and production.
