Switchio at InnoTrans Berlin 2026
Switchio’s public transit team went to Berlin for InnoTrans 2026 to meet transit operators, discuss automated fare collection and demonstrate open-loop ticketing architectures.

If you have ever walked the halls at Messe Berlin during InnoTrans, you know how wild it gets. Endless aisles of train tech, giant hardware displays and thousands of people moving in every direction. It is easy to get lost in the noise, but the real reason we sent a team to Berlin was not just to show off technology. It was to actually connect with people.

Our team spent the fair catching up with partners, meeting transit operators to discuss real fare collection challenges and following the latest trends in open-loop payments, dynamic capping and account-based ticketing (ABT).
